Career Mentoring
Students and graduates (up to 12 months after graduation) of the University of Graz can use our services free of charge. For external persons or students and graduates of other universities, our consultations are subject to a fee.

Together we discuss possible fields of work, where to look for suitable jobs and give you tips for your application documents. In addition, we will be happy to support you in preparing for the job interview or a personal first contact with possible employers.
Bachelor: and now?
In the decision-making phase shortly before completing your bachelor's degree, it is often helpful to receive supportive questions that define your desired path more clearly. We support you in finding a solution that suits you to the following possible questions:
- Do I want to continue studying, or would I rather enter the professional world?
- Should I take a gap year?
- What major/master's degree(s) would make sense for my future?
- What are my career goals?

Strengths and weaknesses check
A strengths and weaknesses check is about your potential, your qualities as well as your competencies and skills. The goal is to get a basic framework of your competencies and strengths, so that you can use them for your own self-assessment as well as for job interviews.
Occupational field definition
You can't decide between occupational fields or would like to find out which direction might suit you? The career field analysis is designed to support you in this decision-making process by examining the individual fields as closely as possible and comparing them with your expectations and preferences.
Prospects interview
It is sometimes quite difficult to see professional perspectives as a young graduate. We support you in working out your options and clarify the procedure in case of missing job offers and measures that you can use for yourself in the transition period.

Together we will discuss how you can improve your documents or how you can better adapt them to a targeted position. You can come for a personal appointment or send us your documents by email.
Information about the job interview and simulation
During this consultation you will receive information about the job interview, but you can also simulate it with our consultants. After the simulation, the interview will be analyzed and questions clarified.
My social media presence
In this consultation, we discuss the sensible use of online profiles in a professional context, go through your existing online profiles or discuss how you can use professional online networks in the future.
Body language training
In this training we discuss your questions and give you constructive feedback on your first impression. Together with our trainer you will try out different exercises. Also possible in a group!
